Web Cube is a fast growing eCommerce and CMS software company located in Solana Beach. We are looking for a passionate and motivated Business Development Manager to join our team.
The Business Development Manager is responsible for being a part of an ecosystem of revenue generating channel and alliance relationships that accelerate Web Cube’s growth. This individual is responsible for all phases of partner engagement; identification, qualification, pursuit, formal engagement, and on-going management through the delivery of multiple successful join customers. This is a highly entrepreneurial position, ideal for self-starters with excellent communications skills and the desire to define and execute a strategy that will become a major growth engine for the organization.
- Research, identify and qualify new client opportunities
- Interface with potential clients on all levels and functions to manage client expectations
- Pursue target potential clients, identifying and closing opportunities for incremental and sustainable revenue-generating partnerships
- Execute business plans with partners in order to meet sales goals +Manage the phases of business development initiatives through research and planning to pitches, proposals, scope of work documents and contracts
- Provide recommendations and assist in implementation of critical business process improvements for business development to ensure that Web Cube achieves or exceeds sales revenue and profitability targets
- Responsible for involvement in meeting team goals
- 5+ years of proven success in business development selling SaaS
- Demonstrated success building and managing revenue generating relationships
- Ability to manage multiple simultaneous work streams and relationships
- Strategic selling and negotiation skills
- Natural leadership qualities
- Strong verbal and communication skills
- Bachelors degree required, MBA is a plus
